Small stock exchange in a flourishing economy

In a solid strategy process all relevant questions to develop a liquid trading for exchange traded funds were laid out. An external analysis among relevant market participants (central bank, financial services authority, clearing house, pension funds and other institutional investors, asset managers etc.) was carried out locally to gain further insights. Based on a solid know-how and data pool, very important issues were adressed at early stage, being able to minimise implementation shortfalls.

Strategy development was based on the parameters agreed with the client considering as always existing and needed resources. The result was a very carefully drafted project plan with realistic assumptions, ideal for a successful implementation of the project. The wholistic implementation adressed elements such as technical prerequisites, trading model and above all target group specific communication with relevant market participants, above all investor groups. Funds@Work was among others also involved in the RFP-process leading to the distribution of the appropriate license to run the country index.

After several structural developments on behalf of the client, inflows have grown steadily. The country involved with its relatively small stock exchange has drawn substantial attention from investors and asset managers alike.
